Alfa Romeo BAT - 11

Show car, designed and developed for the 2008 Geneva motor show

The BAT (berlina aerodinamica tecnica) prototypes were unique Alfa Romeo studies in the 1950s that were inspired by the popular design features identified and inspired by the winged models from the USA. These design exercises resulted in 3 prototypes during this period, the BAT 5, 7 and 9.

These unique BAT cars formed the inspiration for the new BAT 11. The wings and features that make the BAT so unique have been reinterpreted in a new form. Designed and developed at the Stile Bertone design center. This Alfa Romeo BAT was built for the 2008 Geneva Motor Show.
